Then of course the tour is gonna be fun as shiz. And definately playin the Warped Tour will be great.

Yeah it's definately fun as shit playin/hangin out with the No Talent Show crew. Good times. Practice tomorrow night, NorVa show on saturday, promises to be fun. Hope I do good on stage, then I can actually be in the band! W00t!
On a sadder note, I'm losing my best friend, it seems. He's callin me less and hangin out with everyone but me more. Kinda sad.
Anyway, back to life...

Yeah, I definately got a bid to play in a ska band. They're called the No Talent Show, and they're somewhat well known for a local band, and they play the NorVa a lot. I met their lead singer/bassist Damien at one of the shows I helped set up, and a week later he left me a message online to call him. So I did. Turns out their trombone player quit and they're looking for a new trombone player that'll be seriously committed to the band. So what did I say? Hell yeah I'll do it. I mean, damn, the No Talent Show is awesome.
So I've been up all night figuring out some of their songs and practicing in general. Considering how much I've played since I got out of high school, I gotta say I sound pretty damn good. Not as good as I used to be, but I think I'm doin good enough to get in the band. Meetin up with the band after their set tomorrow at the free Mount Trashmore show, and Damien's gonna give me sheets of all their music. Gonna try and absorb those quickly as possible. Then I think they're havin a practice on Sunday, and I'd go to that. Gonna be awesome, hope I get in :):):)
Life finally sucks much less than it should. Kinda scary, I know something's gonna go wrong, which is why I'm considering not going to the hotel party tonight, even though I know everyone'll be pissed at me if I don't go. I just have a bad feeling about this one, which I haven't had at the other hotel parties I've been to. Maybe it's cuz we're ending up with like 10 people crammed into one room, which I think is a little much.
Anywho, gonna go practice some more.

Indeed it has been a while, but that's okay, cuz no one reads this shiz anyway.
So ya, went to the Jackmove concert last night. Hooray for ska! Afterward, Dave admitted to liking ska. Muahaha. It has begun. Jus needa get people to listen for two minutes and they'll start liking ska again instead of labeling something ska and sayin' its gay because ska isnt scene. Sigh. Definately danced with Renizzle some, which is odd considering my shyness and inability to dance has kept me from doing so nearly every time in the past. I guess if my mood and the atmosphere are right I'll do things I wouldn't normally do in public. Plus it helps that Renee is awesome.
Slept over at Rob's with the plan to maybe lay down a guitar track or something... That didn't work out like... at all. Rob kept playing the electric drumkit, which turned out to be loud enough to wake up his dad... AGAIN. Finally got to sleep at like 6:30. Damn daylight savings. For some reason I felt like shit after waking up, and I still kinda do. Oh well.
Okay, I'm done.

So ya, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone.
What did I get for christmas? Money. And $250 of it. Not much compared to other people, I know, but it works for me. And what'd I buy with all that money? Tools. Tools to work on cars.
Which reminds me, we spend several hours more than we should have putting on Kevin's new exhaust, the brand-spanking new Greddy SP2 catback. Sounds nice as shiiiiiiet. I'll put a video up latuh. Took us so long to do it because at first we only had socket wrenches. Then we went to wal-mart and bout a breaker bar, rust dissolver, a mini hacksaw and the rilly spiffy gator grip socket. We went back to Rob's garage and tried them all out and... they didnt work. So after Kevin went home we went BACK to wal-mart and bought a dremel tool. VERY useful. We cut that bitch (the last bolt that was giving us problems) off muahahahahahahaha.
Anyway... uh... ya...

On a lighter note, goin ta see the Return of the King at 7 tonight. Gonna be awesome.
And I am now officially 1/8th done with my college career. 7 more times and i get thrown out into the real world to fend for myself. Kinsa sucks once u think about it. Oh well.

Tomorrow me and Rob and Shaun leave for Tech. Fina fuckin lee. Need a break from the YC. I've reached that point where it slowly eats away at you, day by day.
And dammit, I needa start a ska band once and for all.
Anyways, 'sposed to be writing a goddamn essay for my history exam tomorrow along with a goddamn english paper. God dammit.

Man this weekend's gonna be awesome. Gonna go visit VT and see Stefie and maybe get some P. Okay, prolly not the last part but all they do up there is party so it IS gonna be a crazy good time. I actually got drunk for the first time last night. I was by myself and bored, so I whipped out the vodka. No wonder I've never been drunk before, I gotta try really hard to get that way. Took me 11 shots, and since I usually only casually drink, no wonder it's never just happened. Oh well, Ima just call last night training for Tech. Hehe.
Anyways, I'm supposed to be writing a fucking critique for English. God dammit.
